Mindful of the distinctive history of the Edgartown Historic District, an historic renovation reformed this 18th century home. Working on a small lot presented a challenge at first; however, the renovation provided the homeowners with a new pool cabana, basement, carriage house, and second story addition at the rear of the home. The traditional cape style architecture of the home was a priority to maintain: the perfectly positioned chimney, steep cedar roof, and window above the main entrance. This home falls in step with other historic homes in the area.
